We use the Impulse
Adjusting instrument. Instead of a traditional
thrust by hand, the Impulse delivers a series of
impulses to the misaligned vertebra. We are able to
achieve the same great results of a manual
adjustment without the twisting, turning or popping
of the spine.
With such advances
in technology the Impulse is able to activate joint
mechanoreceptors and joint proprioceptors to reset
muscle spindle fibers and correct the alignment of
the spine. The Impulse delivers a series of “taps”
that are low force, high velocity and extremely
quick to avoid the painful nociceptors from being
activated. This makes the adjustment very
comfortable and avoids the all too common reaction
of guarding and tensing up of the spine while being
adjusted.
